Vaesen – City of My Nightmares

The city hums with gaslight and gossip, but something ancient crawls beneath the cobblestones. In Vaesen – City of My Nightmares you leave the forests and lonely roads of the Mythic North and plunge into a thriving metropolis, where vaesen slip through crowds with ease – until you get too close.

This hardcover campaign for Vaesen – Nordic Horror Roleplaying leads you through a four-part saga, with room to weave in your own mysteries between chapters. The tone is tight and gothic: alleys, parlors, taverns, and rooftops where you catch one shadow too many moving in the wrong direction. You also get a large city map and a substantial newspaper handout that makes the setting feel lived-in – packed with hooks, names, and unsettling headlines.

As the killings mount and the roots of the mystery run deeper than you ever expected, Stockholm (or your chosen city) becomes a trap that slowly tightens. Open the case – and let the night answer.

Grab your notebook and step into the city.
