The Mississippi River — Vintage Natural History Collage

This art print celebrates the river’s native plants and animals, digitally collaged over a restored antique map of a section of the winding Mississippi.

From the graceful great blue heron to the ancient paddlefish and the red blooms of the cardinal flower, we carefully chose each species from vintage natural science illustrations, then restored and digitally composed each one into a timeless print honoring both art and ecology.

Perfect for naturalists, travelers, river lovers, and those who will always feel the pull of the Great River.

All prints are shipped unframed. Frames in the photos are examples that you can use as inspiration for your own framing style.

Your print arrives safely rolled in a protective triangular mailer — the best way to prevent creases and ensure the artwork reaches you in perfect condition.
